Famous pharmacists

Okay, so does anybody know any famous pharmacists, either real-life, or fictional? (Not including those like Jesse Boot and Allen Lloyd who are famous mainly for setting up pharmacy chains-that's just boring!)

Any further contributions welcome.

A couple of cricketers;

Daniel Vettori, the leg-spinner from New Zealand.
Geraint Jones, the slightly useless wicket-keeper for England.

There's also a TV chef here in Australia, Geoff Jansz who used to be a pharmacist.

John Worsfold who coaches the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League.

Hubert Humphrey, the 38th President of the USA.

A fictional character who is a pharmacist is George Williams. He's the pharmacist for one of the wives on ABC's "Desperate Housewives". He's obsessed with on one of the wives on the show and kills her husband by giving him placebos instead of his real medication.

The unattractive ginger fella from Family Guy who is an object of scorn and derision. Not at all like real life then.

Geraint Jones was a technician, I think.
